This commission is for a Western Pet Portrait in my signature “Bandit” style. This style originated from creating a western portrait of my own dog, Bandit, and ultimately led to my most popular collection - COWGIRLS & BANDITS.

I use archival pen, neocolor pastel, and watercolor pencils on toned mixed media paper to create a characterized version of your pet. Think your pet turned outlaw and now likes to hang out in smokey saloons. Please keep in mind that these portraits are not meant to look exactly like your pet as they are illustrative in nature.
The process begins with sending me a reference photo(s) of your choosing, along with the answer to these questions. Please send photos that clearly depicts the characteristics you want displayed in the portrait. If anything is particularly important, please mention it in the “special request” section of the form. There are 2 size options - 5x7” is for a single pet only and an 8x10” is for 2 pets or a larger drawing of 1 pet.
1. Do you want any lettering above the portrait (i.e. "howdy" or your pet's name)
2. What color cowboy/girl hat do you want your pet to be wearing?
3. What item/beverage do you want drawn next to your dog? (i.e. coffee, cocktail, etc.)
4. Important characteristics/distinguishing features?
5. Any other special requests?
I will create the portrait based on the photo and the details requested. Photos will be sent for approval before sending it off to you.
FRAMING:
You have the option to add a frame and mat to your custom pet portrait so it arrives ready to hang and be displayed in your home!
The frame is a wood oak frame with an unfinished, natural look. Please note that the frame will come with plexiglass to prevent shattering and damage to the artwork and for overall ease of shipping. Cost of frame includes a mat with the artist’s signature.
Overall dimensions for each frame size are as follows:
8×10: 9×11”
11×14: 12x15”
*Payment is required up front. If you are unhappy with the initial product, I allow for 2 revisions at no extra cost.
