Signature “Bandit” Pet Portrait

  • This commission is for a Western Pet Portrait in my signature “Bandit” style. This style originated from creating a western portrait of my own dog, Bandit, and ultimately led to my most popular collection - COWGIRLS & BANDITS.

    I use archival pen, neocolor pastel, and watercolor pencils to create a characterized version of your pet. Think your pet turned outlaw and now likes to hang out in smokey saloons.

    The process begins with sending me a reference photo(s) of your choosing, along with the answer to these questions:

    1. Do you want any lettering above the portrait (i.e. "howdy" or your pet's name)

    2. What color cowboy/girl hat do you want your pet to be wearing?

    3. What item/beverage do you want drawn next to your dog? (i.e. coffee, cocktail, etc.)

    4. Important characteristics/distinguishing features?

    5. Any other special requests?

    I will create the portrait based of the photo and the details requested. Photos will be sent for approval before sending it off to you.

  • I offer two sizes of western pet portraits

    • 5x7" for a single pet for $90

    • 8x10" for two pets for $125

    Payment is required up front. If you are unhappy with the initial product, I will make sure that you are happy with it before shipping it to you.

Watercolor & Pen Pet Portrait

  • This commission is for a watercolor and pen western pet portrait. This version is less characterized and has more detail than the signature “Bandit” style. However, it is still very loose and illustrative in nature,

    The process begins with sending me a reference photo(s) of your choosing, along with the answer to these questions:

    1. Do you want any lettering above the portrait (i.e. "howdy" or your pet's name)

    2. Do you want your pet to be drawn wearing a bandana and if so, what color?

    3. Do you want your pet to be drawn wearing a cowboy/girl hat?

    4.Important characteristics/distinguishing features?

    5. Any other special requests?

    I will create the portrait based of the photo and the details requested. Photos will be sent for approval before sending it off to you.

  • I offer two sizes of western pet portraits

    • 5x7" for a single pet for $100

    • 8x10" for two pets for $135

    Payment is required up front. If you are unhappy with the initial product, I will make sure that you are happy with it before shipping it to you.

People + Pet Portraits

  • This commission is for a custom portrait of any of the following combinations: people + people, people + pets!

    I use watercolor and pen to create these loose and playful portraits. My standard style is painting people and pets without facial details.

    The process begins a reference photo(s) of your choosing, along with answering the following questions:

    1. What important characteristics/distinguishing features do you want me to include in the portrait?

    2. Any other special requests?

    I will create the portrait based of the photo and any other details requested. Photos will be sent for approval before sending it off to you.

  • Portraits are made on 8x10” cold press watercolor paper

    2-3 people/pets - $125

    4-5 people/pets - $155
