“Cactus Serenade”
This piece continues my exploration the meaning of the American West with a contemporary lens. The landscape behind the cowgirl is inspired by the iconic outlines of Sleeping Ute and Mesa Verde. Beloved symbols and motifs of the Southwest are included like the cow skull and prickly pear cacti.
SIZE & MATERIALS:
18×24” original acrylic painting with oil pastel on wood panel with a maple floating gallery frame
SHIPPING:
Unframed originals are packaged in a glassine sleeve & sturdy backing board. They are then shipped in a USPS rigid mailer to protect the print from bending. Framed originals will be packaged in a snug, custom made box with eco-friendly “bubble wrap” to prevent jostling and provide protection to the glass.
